Annual Study Day
The NSW/ACT Chapter holds an annual study day for members. This usually takes place towards the end of March and provides a great opportunity for learning and networking as well as an opportunity for novice presenters to talk about their innovative work. If you, or someone you know, would like to present a quality project or case study next time please let the Chapter President know.
The study day is free to members of NSW/ACT.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
In addition to the study day, we hold our AGM in July. This takes the form of a study evening with an invited speaker and light supper provided followed by the actual AGM itself. The 2011 AGM is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 20th July at the Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney from 6pm where the speaker will be Margaret Armstrong talking about falls prevention and management.
All members are eligible to attend and have voting rights at the AGM where all Chapter positions are due for re-election including that of Chapter President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. These executive positions hold office for a period of 2 years from the 2011 AGM until the conclusion of the 2013 AGM. Additionally nominations are being sought for the positions of Chapter committee members to hold office for a period of 1 year, from the date of the 2011 AGM until the conclusion of the 2012 AGM.
All current members have received notification of this event via post together with a call for nominations.
Chapter Committee Meetings:
Chapter committee meetings are held throughout the year with the minutes posted on the ARNA website. Chapter members are welcome to attend or to forward any items for consideration/discussion to a member of the committee.
