Chapter News

David Parsons and Anthony Black have been representing the ARNA-Victorian/Tasmanian Chapter and National Executive at the June consultation session for the (118 page) Subacute Service Planning Framework Report at the Department of Human Services in Melbourne. The outcome of this report will guide future direction of rehabilitation and Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) services in Victoria.

ARNA Chapter Committee

If you are interested in becoming involved in the Chapter Committee please contact the Committee to discuss the positions descriptions for the different roles; president, vice-president, secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer, assistant treasurer and committee member (multiple positions). These positions become vacant each June and voting for the new Committee will occur at the AGM.

Chapter Study Day and Meetings

Throughout the year we have been supported by a
number of organizations and individuals who make our
study days and chapter meetings highly successful
events. On behalf of the chapter I would like to thank
them all for their support. Chris Ashe our Tasmanian committee member has confirmed the date for our next chapter meeting and study day which will be held on Friday the 22nd of February in Hobart. See Diary Dates.
