5 To develop the awareness of the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team of the role and functions of Rehabilitation Nurses.

Nurses working in the rehabilitation field significantly influence the level of function and quality of life achieved by their clients, many with disabilities.

Members of the Association include nurses working a variety of specialist fields, such as orthopaedics, paediatrics, geriatrics, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, critical care, multiple trauma injuries, cardiac, occupational, back injuries, substance abuse, chronic pain management and community nursing.

Interested nurses are invited to join us in working towards a future of recognition in the field of Rehabilitation Nursing, a unique and dynamic area of nursing practice.

Non-voting membership is available to other health professionals who are interested in the development of Rehabilitation Nursing. Corporate membership is also available to organisations, eg, libraries.
