ARNA is run by nurses for nurses.

ARNA has four chapters, with members decided by their state location.  Each of these chapters has a local committee run by members who volunteer their time to respond to the needs of its members at a local level.

The Chapter Presidents report back to ARNA’s national committee on issues that are important to their chapter and contribute to the direction that ARNA takes as a national organisation.

Each chapter is busy throughout the year. They organise study days, conduct regular meetings, hold AGMs where chapter issues are formally discussed, and committee members are elected. Members are encouraged to attend these meetings and are encouraged to stand for election to the committee.
