Association of Rehabilitation Nurses

Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation

Established in 1924, the ANMF is the national union for nurses and the largest professional nursing organisation in Australia. The ANMF's core business is the industrial and professional representation of nurses and nursing through the activities of a national office and branches in every State and Territory.

Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) AHPRA
As part of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agenct (AHPRA) the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) carries out functions as set by the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory (the National Law). The NMBA regulates the practice of nursing and midwifery in Australia, and one of its key roles is to protect the public.

International Council of Nurses (ICN) 
The International Council of Nurses is a federation of national nurses’ associations (NNAs), representing nurses in more than 120 countries. Founded in 1899, ICN is the world’s first and widest reaching international organisation.

Joanna Briggs Institute
The Institute brings together a range of practice-oriented research activities to improve the effectiveness of nursing practice and health care outcomes by conducting systematic reviews and analyses of the research literature.

Australian College of Nursing

Australasian Neuroscience Nurses Association
The Australasian Neuroscience Nurses Association (ANNA), is the peak body for neuroscience nurses to facilitate and foster the advancement of neuroscience nursing thus enabling optimal patient centred care.


American Association of Neuroscience Nurses
