30th ARNA National Conference 2020

National Conference & COVID-19

The Australasian Rehabilitation Nurses’ Association, along with the 2020 conference organising committee, have been closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and the impact on the 30th ARNA National Conference.

It is with deep regret that in light of the restrictions on public gatherings and travel, the ARNA National Committee has made the decision to reschedule the 30th ARNA National Conference to 2021. The conference will be held on 9-10 September 2021, at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hobart, Tasmania. We will update the ARNA website with new developments as we work through changes and will make contact separately with speakers and sponsors who have already committed to the event.  Please ‘SAVE the NEW DATE’ for 2021. The Call for Abstracts will open in October 2020.

Ultimately the health and well-being of ARNA members and sponsors (and their families and significant others) and assisting to prioritise the care for those most vulnerable in our communities as the result COVID-19 are our top priorities.

At this difficult time, our thoughts are with all those who are already personally impacted (or who may be impacted) by this growing health crisis and our nursing and health colleagues around the world who are bearing the brunt of these evolving and unprecedented events. We appreciate your understanding and wish you to stay safe and connected during this time.
